The ONE Campaign is a global organization comprised of many amazing resources and information, and simply describing it through a Blog post does not do it justice. Check out the link to the webpage to read more about the organization, backed by more than 2 million people, that is changing lives, literally. This non-profit offers an abundance of information on issues from poverty to preventable disease, an updated Blog, and how to support the fight to end extreme poverty. ONE has many partner organizations, is non-profit, and non-partisan.
I first heard about the campaign after seeing a PSA in high school. I was first attracted by the celebrities speaking in the commercial (U2's Bono helped create ONE), and today I am passionate about the issues. Some of the world's most impoverished people live in Africa; however, issues affect our global community.
